Early Morning Driving
Today's 3-stop run to the greater Green Bay, WI area went well.

Upon arriving back at the warehouse in Milwaukee, WI I was informed by Mr. C that I'd be getting some additional pay for when I was helping another dedicated account out (I sat on my thumbs for most of the first day). Cool!

There was nothing else available to take today. So tomorrow I'll be be getting up shortly after midnight and delivering to the Chicago, IL area. Oh yeah, I told dispatch today that I prefer not to drive 3rd shift hours (they wanted me to deliver something in the late evening hours tomorrow evening). So what do I get for tomorrow morning? Essentially, early morning (3rd shift) driving. Ironic, hey? Oh well,--at least I'm not starting out this afternoon and driving all night. Getting up early wouldn't be so bad except it's tough to go to sleep right after supper. That's when a lot of good family time occurs. Ah...the life of a non-local truck driver.
