Today's two-stops and backhaul (pick-up) in Iowa went smoothly.
On the way back, I decided to see if I could get the tractor cab I was driving washed. Although the truck only has 120,000 miles on it, it looks like it has many more miles on it than that because it is filthy (the inside is not much better!). I got the OK and after 45-minutes of waiting in line, the truck was washed and looks much better. However, it wasn't completely clean since they could only get so many layers of grime off! Even so, it looks a lot better.
Arriving back at the warehouse, I learned that my truck was still in the shop and wouldn't be ready until tomorrow. Since I'm not on an assigned load, I'll mostly likely receive an assignment in the morning. That's cool--I'll get a good night's rest!
miles driven = 345
