New York Times on the Iraq War
NY Times editorial: "Once the fighting begins, every American will be thinking primarily of the safety of our troops, the success of their mission and the minimization of Iraqi civilian casualties. It will not feel like the right time for complaints about how America got to this point. Today is the right time." [Scripting News]

2003 Denver Municipal Election
Carol Boigon, considered by many to almost have a lock on a City Council At-large position, has been told that she didn't have enough verified signatures on her petition to make the May 6th ballot according to this story in the Rocky Mountain News. Other candidates that did not make it include, "District 4 candidate Clifton Harris; District 5 candidate John Cimino; and District 10 candidate Paul Moore." Several are still waiting for a decision including Dwight Henson (candidate for mayor) and Jeremy Stefanek (candidate for mayor).
Here's the link to the Stump from the Rocky Mountain News.
