2003 Denver City Council Election The at-large City Council candidates were at a forum yesterday as reported here in the Rocky Mountain News. They avoided using up all their time dissing the Election Commission decision to allow Carol Boigon on the ballot. That's good. They are having trouble differentiating themselves on the issues. Nick Nuanes is quoted as saying, "We worry about strategy and getting our messages out, you come (to the forums) and a lot of us start sounding the same." Ouch. 6:14:48 AM

2003 Denver Mayoral Election Susan Casey, candidate for Mayor, is still driving the debate in the election. Here's an article about her ideas on children and education from the Rocky Mountain News. John Hickenlooper is under the gun for contributions to the Chinook Fund which supports Palestinian causes. He sent a letter to Colorado Jewish leaders this week stating his support for Israel, according to this article from the Rocky Mountain News.
