Gary Hart Starts a Weblog

Jenny the Librarian posts this link to presidential candidate, Gary Hart's weblog.

Hart was the Senator from Colorado who's indiscretions while in office brought down his presidential campaign. Lately, there is the story that he was trying to warn the administration and others, well before 9/11, that we were vulnerable to attack and that events were imminent.

I remember the scandal and I couldn't help but get a laugh knowing that he lived up near Kittredge in "Troublesome Gulch" and the yacht where some of his shenanigans happened was named "Monkey Business." Reality can be funnier than fiction.

Mr. Hart, I'm adding your weblog to my blogroll, not as an endorsement, that may come later in the process, but because you are the first national candidate to create a weblog. How refreshing, a politician that wants to talk directly to the voters, in his own voice. You're on the leading edge.
