2003 Denver Mayoral Election Seven is the lucky number for the city of Denver. We have seven mayoral candidates now certified for the May 6th election, according to the Denver Post. Dwight Henson and Jeremy Stefanek did not make the ballot. Stefanek's failure to collect the needed signatures was a surprise since he collected them twice. The Election Commission even applied the so-called "Boigon Break" used earlier in the week to certify Carol Boigon's signatures when she came up 28 short.
