All By Myself, Alone

Sometimes, solitude is the most relaxing activity in which one can engage. It takes a minimum of people "one", the only person that needs to be entertained is you,  and if any disagreements arise a simple vote by majority wins! We are by nature, a very social group of beings. And we do seek the company of others in our lives. But occassionally it's very satisfying to experience a solitude in which we can think, reason and reflect upon issues in our life.Solitude To enjoy that peaceful bliss, it is most important that we find a place where we feel safe and undistracted from outside influences. This can be a great many places to as many different people. It could be a quiet room in your home or perhaps a stroll in a garden. It may be a serene lakeside setting or mountain forest. Or possibly, it's in your own car, sitting in traffic waiting for the light to change. Wherever you find your solitude, be sure to enjoy it's tranquility because unfortuantely, it usually has a short shelf-life!

Today's Quote:

I never found the companion that was so companionable as solitude.-Henry David Thoreau
