The World

We read the paper everyday and hear about some new upheaval taking place in our world. In fact, if you think about it, everyday is an anniversary of some tragic event. A bomb blows up here, a war breaks out there. Famine once again rears its ugly head, this time not even in a third world country. And although I do care and am concerned with worldly affairs, my attempt here is to refrain from any political stance. Surely you have your own opinions which are as different as the next persons and if you really wanted to read about that, you have the power to subscribe to any number of news sources.World In reality, you are here either, due to some random click of the mouse, or...you are searching for some momentary respite from the storm that gathers out there. Perhaps you come here to view the photos...or maybe just to read the daily thoughts of an unknown person. Whatever the case, I am glad that you have visited and I hope you will return...should that world once again, become too heavy and daunting.

Today's Quote:

When will the world know that peace and propagation are the two most delightful things in it?-Horace Walpole
