Hold On
It never ceases to amaze me that some people bring so many troubles upon themselves. You would think, that intelligence would dictate a simpler and easier response to lifes many difficulties. But some seem to prefer the most awkward and difficult paths to these destinations. Why must they inevitably climb the walls instead of using the doorway? And why is it that they often cling merely by their nails over distress and disaster below? They seem to reach out for disquiet or foolishly avoid precautions. Perhaps it is something in their genetic make-up that pushes them into such calamities...perhaps...simply stupidity! Certainly we all strive for adventure and who among us would deny the "no guts no glory" adage...but neither do we need to constantly seek such discourse when there are abundant passages to the same conclusions.
Today's Quote:
All human beings hang by a thread, an abyss may open under their feet at any moment, and yet they have to go and invent all sorts of difficulties for themselves and spoil their lives.-Ivan Sergeevich Turgenev
