Connections
As I wandered today on my walk, I began to think about "connections". Connections, by their very nature are associations. But they can also be partnerships, affiliations or alliances. There are many types of connections in this world...those with places, people, things and even events. Two ends of pipe joined together create just such a connection. One that serves a specific purpose, to transport some commodity from one place to another. You can "make connections" at airports when travelling from city to city. Or maybe it's just that moment in time when you see, all too clearly, why some event in your life happens, and the reason therein . Occassionally, we work within connections that are not apparent to us. Sometimes, we are only one piece in a bigger connection to something even greater. But it is no less important a connection than a link of pipe is to the total pipeline. Without that link, the goal can never be realized. Perhaps the best connection comes about when two people share common interests or ideas. A strong bond of will and mind needed to see their thoughts as one entity. Working together for some specific purpose or common goal. We are all connected in some way to each other, the trick is to accept and understand our connections in order to be truly happy.
