An Apple A Day
Ahhh...but one never feels so well, except for that time just after feeling ill! And so it is with me. Today I feel a world better and I am glad of it. It's rare that I succumb to such maladies and I think the reasons are several. First, while I do not subsist upon rice cakes and water, I do attempt to eat healthy and try to follow a sensible diet. Second, my daily walks seem to satisfy a portion of my exercise requirement as well as contribute to my mental well-being. Finally, while there are surely many other contributing factors such as washing ones hands often and keeping general work areas clean of germs, I believe that a positive outlook on life, can contribute a great deal to ones wellness. So often you read these posts and perhaps you find them to be nothing more than the ravings of a cock-eyed optomist, but I confess that this seems to work for me. And maybe, this is worth more than all the vitamins and elixers you can so easily purchase tonight on your local info-mercial as you toss and turn unable to sleep due to your scratchy throat!
