Weaving Thoughts
Today I visited my city library and had a wonderful time. When I enter through the sliding glass doors I feel as if I am transported to a whole other realm. It is a place where I feel peaceful, calm and relaxing thoughts. There are so many books on practically every subject you could possibly imagine, not to mention the audio and video sections. If I could but read them all. My library also has a vast genealogical research wing which I have visited on occassion as well. After perusing the stacks, I find a selection and then head to my favorite location in all of the building...the fireplace. Located at the rear and near the windows, I settle into an alcove completely devoid of any other person...set back, and stare into the fire where my mind can drift and weave thoughts of bliss.
Today's Quote:
A library is but the soul's burying ground. It is a land of shadows.-Henry Ward Beecher
