Looking for a new home
Some may have noticed that I turned on comments for about a day recently. I'm not playing games, just hoping that they will get the comment server problems cleared up some day soon.
No joy yet. Sometimes the page will load fine and a few minutes later it will load the title header and then take that minute long pause. Not good. Lots of visitors will just say 'screw this' and move on. I would.
I am also seriously thinking of moving the whole page someday soon. Thats a big step that requires a lot of planning and preparation. I am experimenting with the new Lockergnome.net as one of the possible new homes. Haven't had much time to really give it a good workout yet.
I have a trip coming up in three weeks and would really like to have a web based site by then so I will not have to leave my computer on and use GoToMyPC. That works great as long as you have a high speed connection at the other end but I can't be assured of that till I actually check into the hotel.
If there is anyone out there reading this who has had any experience with Lockergnome.net, your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Just click on the little mail envelope in the right hand column to send me e-mail. Thanks.

New range target
Where I work, we have been using the black silloute targets for as long as I can remember. I have heard there were complaints in the past about using the all black target. White would be perfectly fine of course. Here is a target that I'm sure would not be offensive to anyone. It might even make going to the range more fun for everyone.
I do see one problem though. We are taught to not make head shots so the big red 10 on Mickey's head would have to go. I always get in trouble at the range by putting a nice tight group in the forehead. Of course I always make the excuse that I was aiming at the chest and the sights must be off. Funny the Rangemasters never buy that.
